The Bose® CineMate digital 2.1-channel speaker system makes it easy to enjoy the power of a home theater experience. It's designed for use with your TV and video components, like a DVD player or VCR. There's no bulky equipment, complicated wiring or confusing installation. Just two front speakers and a hideaway Acoustimass module bring movies and music to life with four quick connections.
If you're just listening to sound through a TV, then you're not getting the full experience. Add the high-performance audio of the CineMate home theater speaker system and you'll complete the picture with ease. Our proprietary Articulated Array® speaker design combines with TrueSpace® digital processing circuitry to produce cinematic sweep from just two front speakers. You'll also enjoy a strong center image that locks dialogue on screen with no center-channel speaker to cramp your TV's style.
The Acoustimass module answers the call for emphatic low notes that grab your attention. It delivers dramatic effects without audible distortion, so you can hide it almost anywhere in the room. And all the sound seems to come from the small speakers.

The CineMate digital home theater speaker system offers simplified setup that can be completed quickly. There are just four connections to make, with intuitive one-way connectors eliminating the guesswork required of more complex home theater systems. A slim universal remote operates your system and most devices attached to your TV.

Proprietary TrueSpace® digital processing circuitry delivers a spacious, multichannel sound experience with strong center imaging from just two visible speakers and a hideaway Acoustimass module.
Acoustimass module works in concert with the small speakers to deliver a fuller range of theater sound and effects. The patented Bose design produces low frequencies for all channels with no audible distortion.
Interface module houses two LED indicators and connectors for audio input, and receives IR commands for the speaker system. Connects directly to your TV while providing status information (on/off) for your speaker system.
Universal infrared remote delivers seamless system operation and controls most video components attached to your TV.
System setup consists of only four simple connections. Intuitive one-way connectors eliminate the guesswork often associated with more complex systems.
Digital 5.1 decoding provides improved realism from 5.1-encoded DVDs, DBS or HDTV.
Proprietary Videostage® 5 decoding and post-processing circuitry, combined with digital 5.1 decoding and DTS®, helps deliver a high quality, five-channel surround sound experience from practically any source: DVDs, videocassettes, stereo CDs, even older mono TV shows and movies.

At the other end of the speaker cable, separate the left and right speaker cords as much
as necessary to reach each speaker (Figure 9).

Plug the LEFT speaker cable into the rear jack of the left speaker (Figure 10). Plug the
RIGHT speaker cable into the rear jack on the right speaker.

On the Acoustimass module, insert the Interface module connector into the input jack
(Figure 11). Firmly tighten the two thumbscrews on the connector.
